Welcome to the Dandenong Ranges Steiner School

We are an independent School and Kindergarten based on the educational model founded by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Steiner's work influences fields as diverse as education, agriculture, medicine, art and business.

The Dandenong Ranges Steiner School is based in the Dandenong Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.

Steiner Education aims to meet the needs of the whole child. By embracing thinking, feeling and doing as equally important aspects of the developing child, its purpose extends beyond satisfying current trends. Rather the child is educated in an environment conducive to the gentle unfolding of his or her true potential.

TOUR of the Dandenong Ranges Steiner School & Kindergarten

There are regular guided tours of the whole Dandenong Ranges Steiner School. The tour takes approximately 45 minutes and afterwards participants are invited to enjoy for a cuppa and ask any questions.

The tour will commence at Menzies Creek at 9:30am sharp for Kinder, and Prep. Then followed by a visit to our new campus at Crystal Brook, Emerald to view classes 1 through to 6.

The next tour is planned for Tuesday, 16 March 2010.
